Mia Breitkopf is a graduate student pursuing her M.S. degree in Library and Information Science at Syracuse University, and she will graduate in May 2013.
In 2011, she moved to Syracuse to study after seven years in Philadelphia, PA, where she worked at Strawbridge’s on Market Street, taught music in a public school, and worked for a philanthropic cultural grantmaker. She has taught K-12 general and choral music, interned at an academic library, co-planned and facilitated a librarians’ unconference, and presented librarian professional development workshops.
She currently works in marketing and graduate program recruitment at SU’s School of Information Studies (through May 2013). She is looking for a job.
